INTRO

The Festival of Lights in Berlin is an annual event that transforms iconic city landmarks with stunning artwork projections, creating a unique and immersive atmosphere. For the festival’s 20th anniversary, I was tasked with designing the key visual that would define the event’s identity. My responsibilities also included creating editorial layouts, promotional materials, and content for the festival staff to support the celebration.

For the 20th anniversary of Berlin’s Festival of Lights, I crafted the event’s key visual, setting a cohesive theme for all branding materials and creating a memorable identity. In addition, I developed mockups for various brand partners to showcase how their artwork would look projected onto Berlin’s landmarks—an essential step in securing client approval and excitement.

I also designed editorial materials, including booklets and brochures, that highlighted the festival’s events with a visually engaging approach.

 

For a collaboration with DJ Paul van Dyk, I created promotional posters and digital formats, ensuring consistent reach across social media.

The final designs captured the festival’s celebratory essence, earning strong client approval and audience engagement, and making the 20th anniversary a standout experience for attendees and partners alike.
