DEAR BARBER

CLIENT: COLLCAP PKG.

INTRO

The challenge was to develop a completely new and unique male grooming brand—one that embodies the essence of traditional British grooming with a contemporary touch.

The objective was to create high-performance products with a luxurious feel, catering to discerning male customers who value quality and heritage. The final products had to deliver on all fronts: performance, scent, and packaging, aligning with the expectations of a professional, premium grooming brand.

EXHIBITION DESIGN

Starting from scratch, I led the creative direction to design the entire product line, from the concept and scent to the packaging.

Drawing inspiration from vintage male grooming aesthetics, we designed the hero hair styling products with a distinctive wooden look applied to plastic jars using an aqua transfer process, striking a balance between luxury and cost efficiency.

This set the tone for a product range that later expanded to include beard products, fragrances, and accessories such as beard combs—all of which I personally designed.

Once the core products were created, we focused on building a cohesive brand identity. This included developing brand guidelines and creating a narrative that highlighted the product’s heritage and craftsmanship.

Our promotional strategy was unconventional; we took the brand to the public through live events at barber exhibitions, constructing bespoke barbershop setups to immerse audiences in the Dear Barber experience.

Additionally, we collaborated with a barber ambassador who conducted product lectures, enhancing credibility and engagement. I also designed the full suite of digital and print media for brand promotion, from website design to social media content, ensuring a consistent and compelling presence across all platforms.
