INTERFACE DESIGN

We developed a fun and interactive concept called the "Talking Coffee Machine." This fake coffee machine was designed to surprise and entertain users with a promoter hidden inside.

The machine featured a screen where users could select their desired coffee flavor but had to complete playful challenges related to their choice to receive their drink. For instance, selecting the high-protein flavor triggered a yoga duel with a second promoter, while choosing the Spanish flavor involved a brief Spanish lesson.

Throughout the experience, the promoter inside the machine guided and humorously interacted with participants.

I designed the machine’s setup and look to align with Emmi Caffè Latte’s brand guidelines. The promotion was executed as a beach tour through North Germany, with the machine visiting various locations, ensuring widespread engagement and visibility for the brand.

INTERFACE
DESIGN

I was also responsible for designing the interface of the "Talking Coffee Machine," focusing on clarity and user-friendliness. The interface needed to effectively represent each coffee flavor and ensure a smooth, intuitive user experience. To achieve this, I created a visually engaging design that made it easy for users to select their desired flavor. Each flavor was accompanied by quizzes and challenges specifically tailored to enhance the theme of the flavor—whether it was a yoga duel for the high-protein option or a Spanish lesson for the Spanish flavor. This approach not only streamlined the interaction but also made each challenge feel relevant and connected to the chosen coffee flavor.
